Leading A Double Life

To that one person, you know who you are. You live your life leading a double life. You act one way in front of everyone, maybe you even have more than one mask depending who you’re with but that’s for another day. You think no one knows your secrets, you think no one knows what you do when no ones around you. And you’re right. Maybe no one knows about the sinful life you lead behind closed doors. Just maybe. However, someone does know. The one person you should be worried about actually knowing knows it all. From the big things all the way to the last tiny detail.
Yes, if your parents found out, you’d probably be grounded for life and they’d be very disappointed in you. And so would your friends. But that’s not who I’m talking about here. God. He’s the one person you should be worried about and the one person you can’t hide anything from. How do you think your parents would act if they found out you get drunk every night and smoke some weed now and then? I imagine they wouldn’t be too happy, if it were me, I’d probably be dead by now…now from the weed though. Anyways, not think about how God would feel? How He does feel. The one who created you and gave you life, seeing you waste your life away day but day, because He does see it. He sees you, and I’m talking about the real you. Not the you that you let others see. Just keep one thing in mind, God is a forgiving God but you reap what you sow. Yes, God can forgive you but it doesn’t mean your actions won’t have consequences. You need to learn from your mistakes and not run away from them like they never happened. Today you still have a chance to come clean. Tomorrow you may not get that chance and by then it’ll be too late.
