No regrets

We were given a life by God that encourages us to live our life to the fullest. Living life with no regrets does not mean that we won’t make mistakes along the way. We will and a lot of them. But we learn from them and have to keep going. If your saying to yourself right now that you don’t make many mistakes then you’re hardly living your life.

2 Timothy 4:7 says “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Have you ever said to yourself, “I want to live so that when I’m done, I will know that I accomplished something with my life.” Either you’ve done something great for God or for someone who you came across along your path. As christians, we should let God continue to grow in us and live life 100% for Christ. There may be some obstacles that get in our way and try to keep us from living this kind of life. One question we need to ask ourself is: are we living our life for ourselves or are we living for Christ? In my opinion, this is the biggest obstacle that we as humans face today.

Everyday, I see people sinning around me. I’m not saying that I don’t sin and that I’m perfect. I’m far from it actually, but their reason for sinning is one that doesn’t make sense to me. YOLO. They only live once so they want to enjoy life as much as they can. But doesn’t that get kind of annoying? Lonely? Useless? When you live your life for yourself, then you have no real purpose to your life. Don’t you want to feel as though you are here for a reason bigger than you. That there’s a reason that you were born and are still alive? I know that I do! The fact that I know that I’m here on this earth for a reason, encourages me to keep living my life and enjoy it along the way. It makes me wonder what me future has in store for me. What purpose will I serve in fulfilling God’s ultimate plan? Living for Christ 100% does not mean that you can’t enjoy life.

Many people think that if you’re a christian, that it means that you don’t know how to have fun and enjoy life. That you’re a boring person. Whoever made this blunt definition obviously wasn’t a christian because that is far from the truth. As christians we need to live our life with ┬áno regrets but for Christ and not ourselves. And while living for Christ to the fullest, He is going to show you so many wonderful things along your path.
